Hi I'm Kathryn,

I attended my first Business Chicks Breakfast in 2001. My heart was yanked from its foundations after hearing stories from kids that had called the Kids Helpline for help.  I learnt about the amazing work that the Kids HelpLine do. But essentially, its not enough. They need more funds to keep answering calls from children. There are many calls that go unanswered.

Imagine if a child you know was in trouble and had no one could answer their call for help ?  The thought that ANY kid might not be able to get help was enough for me to support this charity.

I'd really appreciate all your support on this journey. I will be one of twenty business chicks that will travel to Cambodia on 5 November 2009 to work on a project at the Sunrise Children's Village operated by Geraldine Cox and the Australian Cambodia Foundation.

The trip highlights include :

 - Four days of cycling remote roads in Cambodia - 30kms to 50 kms a day

 -Four days hands on project work at the Sunrise Children's Village

This is a physically challenging fundraising event that will raise vital funds for Kids Helpline. 

Not only will i be raising funds but i will literally have to "get on my bike" and start training for the mammoth journey.
